Commitment to Accessibility

The TIME4MH Initiative is committed to providing a website that is accessible and usable for all individuals, including people with disabilities.  We design our digital content to be compatible with a variety of devices, browsers, and assistive technologies to provide an inclusive online experience for our digital audience.

Currently, all content and resources on this website are available in English.  We recognize that this may limit accessibility for users who read and understand other languages.  Users may use third-party translation tools to access content in other languages.

Please note that translation tools are provided by third parties and may not always be accurate.  TIME4MH does not guarantee the quality or reliability of translated content.

Accessibility Standards

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which are internationally recognized standards for digital accessibility.  These guidelines help ensure that websites are perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for individuals using assistive technologies, such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and alternative input devices.

Accessibility Features

We strive to incorporate accessibility features, such as:

  • Clear navigation and consistent page structure
  • Text alternatives (alt text) for images
  • Sufficient color contrast for readability
  • Keyboard navigability for core website functions
  • Captions or transcripts for video content where available
  • Responsive design for different devices and screen sizes

Embedded Content and External Tools

Some third-party content, tools, or embedded media (ie. YouTube or external forms) may not fully meet accessibility standards.  We encourage users to contact us if they encounter accessibility barriers.

Whenever possible:

  • Videos will include captions or transcripts
  • YouTube embeds will use privacy-enhanced mode and comply with consent-based cookie policies
  • Forms will be designed for keyboard and screen reader accessibility
